Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 4, 2026

Dunkivo is a basketball game that can be played offline provided by Emre Gören. This policy covers the Android app and this support website. The iOS policy is available separately.

Information stored on your device

Your best score, stars, ball choices, mission progress, language and gameplay settings are stored on your device. No account is required, and these saved records are not uploaded to us as game saves. Deleting the app may also delete local progress. Android may back up or transfer game progress according to your device settings. Age classification and reporting consent are excluded from Android backup and device transfer.

Optional analytics and crash reporting

Analytics and crash reporting are off by default. Only users who indicate that they are 18 or older can enable reporting in Settings. The same game features remain available if you decline or do not specify an age. We store only an adult/non-adult classification locally, not your exact age. Firebase does not initialize before adult reporting consent. If an eligible user enables reporting, the app uses Google Analytics for Firebase and Firebase Crashlytics. Information may include game start and end events, tutorial use, replay selections, scores, shot and basket counts, duration and difficulty; installation identifiers, device and operating system information, crash traces and technical diagnostics. Analytics may derive an approximate region from the network connection; we do not request GPS location.

We use this information to understand gameplay, improve features and diagnose faults. Installation identifiers may associate events and reports with the same app installation. Advertising ID collection and advertising personalization are disabled, and advertising ID and AdServices permissions are removed from the Android app. There are no in-app purchases. Optional rewarded advertising is described below.

Optional rewarded advertising

Users who indicate that they are 18 or older may choose to watch an AdMob advertisement to continue a failed run once or receive an additional amount equal to that run’s earned stars. Ads require an internet connection. Playing again and collecting basic earned stars do not require an advertisement. Children and users who skip the age question do not receive advertising requests; the advertising SDK is not initialized for them.

We request non-personalized ads. This does not prevent advertising data processing: Google and its advertising partners may collect and share IP addresses (including approximate location), app/device or installation identifiers, interactions with ads and the app, and performance and diagnostic information for advertising delivery and measurement, fraud prevention and service operation. The app does not request GPS access. Advertising consent is separate from optional Firebase analytics. Turning off Firebase reporting does not turn off the data processing needed for ads.

Where required, Google’s consent message appears before ad requests. You can review your choices using “Ad privacy choices” in Settings when available. You may decline optional ads and continue normal gameplay. Google’s retention and privacy processes apply to advertising data, which may be processed outside your country. Your choices and deletion

You can turn off analytics in Settings at any time. This stops future event collection, resets Analytics data on the device and deletes unsent crash reports; it does not automatically recall previously sent data. Contact us below for questions or deletion requests. Since there is no account, we may be unable to associate a particular report with you; we will not request more information than necessary to verify a request.

Service providers and retention

Google processes analytics and diagnostics through Firebase services. Processing may take place on servers outside your country. Analytics retention depends on project settings and Google’s retention processes. For Crashlytics reports and associated identifiers, Google specifies 90 days before beginning removal. Support correspondence is retained to resolve requests and for necessary follow-up.

This website and support requests

We do not add analytics scripts, advertising cookies or contact forms to this static website. Firebase Hosting may process connection information, such as IP addresses, to deliver the site securely and prevent abuse. If you email us, your email address and the information you provide are used to address your support or privacy request. You do not need to send passwords, payment information or other sensitive information.

Your rights, children and changes

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or object to processing and to complain to the relevant authority. Contact us by email to make a request. Children and users who do not specify their age cannot enable Firebase Analytics or Crashlytics reporting. The age screen does not send age information to us. There is no registration flow asking for names or email addresses. Contact us if you believe information about a child has been sent. Policy updates will appear here with a revised date.

Request data deletion

  1. Email emre.gorren@gmail.com with the subject “Dunkivo Android data deletion”.
  2. Describe whether you want optional analytics records or your support correspondence deleted. You may include an installation identifier if you already have it; do not send passwords or identity documents.
  3. We will respond to clarify the request and delete identifiable records where the service supports deletion. Without an account or installation identifier we may be unable to locate individual analytics records. Crashlytics reports and associated identifiers follow Google’s 90-day retention before removal begins; deletion of a specific crash report is not available through the app.

Turn reporting off in Settings to stop future uploads, reset local Analytics data and delete unsent crash reports. To remove game progress, clear the app’s storage or uninstall it; manage Android backups separately in your device settings. Support correspondence needed to verify and fulfill a deletion request may be kept until the request and any required follow-up are resolved.
